Please add a separate page listing and detailing the various qualifications, work and life experiences you wish to put forward for consideration, attaching copies of any certificates, statements etc. If necessary, you can also add to your application by writing a 3,000 word essay on a title we set you. You can discuss a title straight away by emailing Dr Marie Angelo at the university:

3. Personal statement: For our imaginative subject your personal statement is a particularly important part of your application. We are interested in your motivations, & background, your current practice and vision of where these studies might take you. We also want to know what you enjoy reading, and ask for your views on three introductory papers written by your tutors, which give a flavour of our core material. Copies are available through Admissions, or on our website www.imaginalstudies.org
ANGELO, M., (1997) ‘When the Gods were Intelligent... and Education was Enchanting.’ Self & Society, vol 24, no 6.

For distance learners, please indicate your level of ease with IT and internet access, (including SKYPE if possible,) and whether you would be interested in/able to attend one or more of the June Summer School events during your studies.
4. What happens next? Once we receive your completed application, we’ll contact you. Depending on timing and distances, we may invite you to visit the campus, or speak with you via email, telephone or SKYPE. We accept new students on a rolling basis, so we will inform you straight away, after which you receive a formal letter from the university. Later we’ll send you a helpful induction pack with all the details about starting up... then we meet in September – either in person or via the internet.
