  • 1998-99 Advanced Supervision and Consultation course with Professor Clarkson at Physis, London.

  • 1997 Counselling Psychologist. British Psychological Society (BPS) Statement of Equivalence for the three year Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (now offered as a practitioner Doctorate.) Award based on a portfolio of training courses, study and practice of counselling and psychotherapy, to 1986, including a private, seven year Jungian-style analysis with a psychiatrist specialising in Jung and active imagination.

  • 1993 D.Phil, Sussex University. ‘Image Intelligence: A Psychological Study of Active Imagination as Education,’ supervised by Dr. Peter Abbs and examined by Dr. Brian Bates and Jungian Analyst Peter Tatham.

  • 1982 MSc Occupational Psychology, University of London Birkbeck College – qualifying for membership of the BPS Division of Occupational Psychology (formed later).
